Active ingredient: permethrin 1%

Auxiliary substances: cocamido-propyl betaine, sodium C10-C16 alkyl ethoxysulfate, PEG-18 glyceryl oleate/coate, benzyl alcohol, cocamide, sodium chloride, polysorbate 80, edetate disodium, citric acid (E330), apricot/mint scent, Sunset Yellow dye (E110), purified water.

How to take, the dosage

Apply Hygiene Shampoo to moistened hair, rubbing into hair roots. Wait 20 minutes to improve the effect of the product. Then rinse off the treated parts of the head with running warm water. To remove dead lice and nits it is necessary to thoroughly comb the hair with the fine comb included in the shampoo kit.

The pubic area of the body is treated in the same way as the scalp. Care should be taken to spread the product all over the pubic hair area, the inside of the thighs and the area around the anus.

The amount of shampoo used for head pediculosis is 15-20 ml per head treatment depending on the degree of infestation of insects, length and density of hair, 10-15 ml for pubic pediculosis. The treatment should be repeated in 7-10 days, but no more than 2 times a month.

Special Instructions

If allergic reactions occur during the use of the product, its use should be discontinued.

When using Hygiene Shampoo, avoid contact with the mucous membranes of the eyes and nasopharynx. A cotton bandage should be wrapped around the head (below the hair) before using the shampoo. If the shampoo comes into contact with the eyes or mouth, rinse them thoroughly with water. If you accidentally swallow the product, seek medical attention immediately.

A long term use of the product should be avoided.

If infection occurs in public places such as day care centers, preschools, or schools, once a week is recommended as a preventive measure during times when there is a risk of infection. Healthcare workers should wear gloves if shampooing is carried out by the same person. Personal hygiene rules should be followed (wash your hands when you finish work).

If there is an infection in the family, it is recommended that all family members be treated with the prophylactic product.

The shampoo can cause contact dermatitis in some areas of skin interaction.

Contraindications

It is not recommended for use in children under the age of five, pregnant and lactating women, as well as people with various skin diseases, or with manifestations of allergy to medical and cosmetic products.
