Antiseptic agent from the group of oxidants. When hydrogen peroxide comes in contact with damaged skin or mucous membranes, it releases active oxygen and causes mechanical cleaning and inactivation of organic substances (proteins blood pus). The antiseptic action is not sterilizing and its use only results in a temporary reduction of microorganisms. Abundant foaming promotes thrombosis and stopping bleeding from small vessels.

How to take, the dosage
Externally in the form of 3% solution. Topically (on mucous membranes) as 025 % solution. To obtain 025% solution the drug is diluted with water in the ratio of 1:11. Do not use undiluted solution for mucous membranes treatment!
Damaged areas of skin or mucous membranes are treated with a cotton or gauze swab dipped in the drug solution. The tampons should be held with tweezers! Jet irrigation of the wound surface is possible.

The use of the product under occlusive dressings is not recommended.
Avoid contact with the eyes!
Do not use for cavity irrigation!
It is unstable in an alkaline environment in the presence of alkali metal complex radicals of some oxidants and in the presence of light and heat.
The treatment of a wound with 3% hydrogen peroxide solution does not guarantee against infection with tetanus and other wound infections.
