Special instructions
Contraindicated in children under 2 years of age.
Children aged 2 to 7 years
1 measuring spoon (5 ml) 3 times a day
Children from 7 to 14 years old
1-2 measuring spoons (5-10 ml) 3 times a day
Adults and children over 14 years old
2 measuring spoons (10 ml) 3-5 times a day
Contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus, congenital fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.
1 scoop of syrup (5 ml) contains 4 g of sucrose. If the recommendations for the use of the drug specified in the instructions are followed, the patient receives from 4 g (1 measuring spoon) (corresponding to 0.4 bread units (XE)) to 8 g (2 measuring spoons) (corresponding to 0.8 XE) of sucrose.
The use of the drug Gerbion® plantain syrup does not affect the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (driving vehicles, working with moving mechanisms, working as a dispatcher, operator).

Lanceolate leaf plantain (Plantaо lanceolata L.s.l, plantain family – Plantaginaceae) 0.25 g
Flower mallows (Malva sylvestris L., malvaceae family – Malvaceae) 0.25 g
Purified water (extractant)
265.00 mg ascorbic acid in the form of 73.12 mg sodium ascorbate.
Pregnancy
Pregnant and lactating women are contraindicated to take Gerbion® plantain syrup (due to insufficient data on the safety of the drug in this group of patients).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, diabetes mellitus, congenital fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, sucrase-isomaltase deficiency, children under 2 years of age.
Side Effects
Allergic reactions are possible. If side effects occur, you should stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.
Interaction
Gerbion® plantain syrup should not be used simultaneously with antitussives and drugs that reduce the formation of sputum, as this makes it difficult to cough up liquefied sputum.
Overdose
To date, there have been no reports of cases of overdose.
Clinical pharmacology
The drug has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial (bacteriostatic) effect.
Storage conditions
At a temperature not exceeding 25 ºC, in the original packaging.
Do not store in the refrigerator.
Keep out of the reach of children.
