Hepafor® is a combined multicomponent drug of directed hepatoprotective action. Active components of the drug have mutually potentiating action directed simultaneously on several pathophysiological processes in the liver: prevention of damage to liver cell membranes, suppression of free radical reactions and lipid peroxidation processes, suppression of pathological immune activation and inflammation.

Indications

The drug is used in adults of all age groups in the treatment of complex therapy:

The drug shall be used as a prophylactic in case of chronic intoxications (including occupational), long-term use of drugs and alcohol.

Composition

One capsule #0 contains

active ingredient: milk thistle extract dry – 100 mg, excipients: Colloid silica 0.1-1 mg, magnesium stearate 0.4-4 mg, corn starch up to 105 mg,

Capsule shell composition: titanium dioxide (white) 2%, iron oxide (yellow) 0.05-1.8%, gelatin up to 96 mg

and one capsule #3.

One capsule #3 contains

active ingredients: Bifidobacterium bifidum, sorbed on colloidal silica – at least 50 million CFU, Lactobacillus fermentum, sorbed on colloidal silica – at least 50 million CFU,

inauxiliary substances: Colloid silica 0.6 mg, magnesium stearate 1-10 mg, lactulose up to 0.20 g,

Capsule shell composition: titanium dioxide (white) 2%, iron oxide (yellow) 0.05-1.8%, gelatin up to 48 mg.

Synopsis

Capsule #0 is a hard gelatin, cylindrical shape with hemispherical ends. The capsule body is white opaque, the cap is yellow opaque. Contains capsule №3 and amorphous powder of grayish-yellow to light brown.

Capsule №3 – hard gelatin, cylindrical shape with hemispherical ends. The capsule body is white opaque, the cap is yellow opaque. It contains a powder of whitish-gray to light beige color with a slight sour smell.
