When administered intranasally, the concentration of the active substance reached in the blood is well below the detection limit (the detection limit for interferon alfa-2b is 1-2 IU/mL) and is of no clinical significance.

How to take, the dosage

At the first signs of the disease it is put into the nose for 5 days:

With the purpose of prophylaxis (acute respiratory viral infections and influenza): in case of contact with a sick person and / or hypothermia the drug is injected in the age appropriate dosage twice a day for 5-7 days. If necessary the prophylactic courses are repeated; with seasonal increase in the incidence of the disease the drug is injected in the morning in an age-appropriate dosage 1-2 days later.

After each injection, it is recommended that the wings of the nose be massaged with the fingers for a few minutes to distribute the drug evenly in the nasal cavity.

Special Instructions

Contraindications

– Individual intolerance to the preparations of interferon and components that make up the drug Grippferon.
– Severe forms of allergic diseases.
