Bakelite varnish – 1.65 g,

polyvinylbutyral – 9.7 g,

rosin – 0.85 g.

auxiliary substances:

dibutyl phthalate-3.5 g,

castor oil-1.75 g,

ethyl alcohol- 82.55 g

How to take, the dosage

Glue BF-6 is used topically in adults and children Children under one year of age are not recommended. Before applying BF-6 glue the skin area should be thoroughly cleaned of dirt.

Stop bleeding with a cotton or gauze swab and dry the area to be covered with glue. The latter is applied to the skin with a thin even layer until the area of injury and the adjacent intact tissues are completely covered (no bandage is applied).

If the integrity of the film is compromised, a new film is applied over it. In surgical treatment of periradicular foci of infection the tooth root is thoroughly cleaned of granulation and cyst membrane, bleeding is stopped, dried and the part of the tooth root projecting into the defect of the jaw bone is covered with glue without allowing the glue to drip on the bone. After 1 – 2 minutes the wound is dried, watching the filling of the periorbital defect of the jaw with a blood clot. Further management of the postoperative period is normal.

The film is formed within 2 – 5 minutes after application of BF-6 and is firmly held on the skin for 2 – 3 days, and on the tip of the tooth root up to 7 days.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the ingredients of the drug.

Side effects

Burning at the site of application, allergic reactions.
