Gentos is a complex homeopathic medicine.

It has antiproliferative effect, affects the mechanical component of dysuria in benign prostatic hyperplasia, regulates the tone of detrusor smooth muscle and bladder wall, increasing its reservoir and evacuatory function, and affects the dynamic component of dysuria in prostatic hyperplasia.

It improves urodynamics and uroflowmetric parameters.

Gentos has an anti-inflammatory effect, improves microcirculation in the tissues of the genitourinary system. Moderately increases cavernous blood flow, restores erectile function in chronic prostatitis.

Indications

Complex treatment of acute and chronic prostate diseases (benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostatitis) – to relieve the symptoms of these diseases; treatment of bladder diseases (cystitis, bladder atony).

How to take, the dosage

At the mouth, 30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal, tablets – keep under the tongue until complete resorption.

Cronic prostatitis: adults – 1 tablet 3 times a day. The course of treatment is 3 months.

In case of exposure to provoking factors – 2-week prophylactic courses.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (adenoma): adults – 1 tablet 3 times a day. The course of treatment is 3 months with transition to maintenance therapy 1 or 2 times a day depending on the severity of dysuria.

Cystitis: adults and adolescents: 1 tablet 3 times a day for 1-2 weeks (in acute cystitis) or 3 times a day for 3 months (in chronic cystitis). After that it is possible to switch to supporting therapy – once or twice a day, if necessary.

Untraining disorders (frequent urge to urination, night urge to urination, incomplete emptying of the bladder): for adults and adolescents – 1 tablet 3 times a day for 2 weeks (in acute disorders) or 3 times a day for 3 months (with a chronic course). After that, if necessary, it is possible to switch to maintenance therapy – 1-2 times a day.

In acute cases it is possible to take every 0.5-1 hours until improvement of the condition, but no more than 8 times, after which it should be taken 3 times a day.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; children under 12 years of age (due to insufficient clinical data).

With caution (as prescribed by the physician): pregnancy; lactation; thyroid disease.

Side effects

Rarely: increased salivation.

The patient should be informed that if other side effects occur, consult a physician.
