Interaction

Preparation Gastal ® when used concomitantly increases the activity of levodopa and nalidixic acid, reduces and delays absorption of quinolones, isoniazid, naproxen, iron drugs, indomethacin, aminazine, beta-adrenoblockers, diflunisal, H2-histamine receptor blockers, fat-soluble vitamins, indirect anticoagulants, barbiturates.

Special Instructions

Continuous use for more than 2 weeks is possible only after consultation with your doctor.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to aluminum salts, magnesium or other components of the drug; severe renal failure; Alzheimer’s disease; hypophosphatemia; lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption; children under 6 years of age.

Side effects

When using the drug in the recommended doses, adverse reactions are rare (at least 0.01%, but less than 0.1%): nausea, constipation, diarrhea, changes in taste.

Overdose

Symptoms of acute overdose are not described.

Pregnancy use

Caution may be taken.
