Furacilin, tablets 20 mg 10 pcs

Furacilin is an antimicrobial agent, penetrating inside the microbial cell, prolongs the resting phase (interphase) and thus inhibits division.

It is active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (Staphylococcus spp, Streptococcus spp., Shigella dysenteriae spp., Shigella flexneri spp., Shigella boydii spp., Shigella sonnei spp., Escherichia coli, Clostridium perfringens, Salmonella spp. etc.).

sodium chloride 0.8g

How to take, the dosage

Externally, as 0.02% (1:5000) aqueous or 0.066% (1:1500) alcohol solutions – irrigate wounds and apply moist dressings. Intracavitary – wash maxillary and pleural cavities, oral cavity.

For preparation of aqueous solution 1 part of nitrofural is dissolved in 5000 parts of sodium chloride isotonic solution or distilled water. The solution is sterilized at 100 °C for 30 minutes. The alcohol solution is prepared in 70% ethyl alcohol.
