Composition

1 tablet for preparing a solution for local use contains:

Furacilin 0.02 g,

Sodium chloride 0.8 g.

How to take, the dosage

Externally, as 0.02% (1:5000) aqueous or 0.066% (1:1500) alcohol solutions – irrigate wounds and apply moist dressings.

Intracavitary – wash the maxillary and pleural cavity, oral cavity.

For preparation of aqueous solution 1 part of nitrofural is dissolved in 5000 parts of sodium chloride isotonic solution or distilled water. The solution is sterilized at 100 °C for 30 minutes.

The alcohol solution is prepared in 70% ethyl alcohol.

Side effects

Dermatitis may occur, requiring temporary interruption or complete discontinuation of the drug.
