FRAUTEST menopause test is a paper strip soaked in reagent (labeled antibodies to FSH), which is immersed in a container of urine for 10 seconds. Evaluation of the result after 3-5 minutes,
but no later than 10 minutes.

Positive results of 2 tests with a one-week interval indicate that the woman is in perimenopause.
Sensitivity is 25 mE/ml.

Directions for use

Testing should be done on morning urine, as it contains the highest concentration of the hormone and therefore you will get the most reliable result. Reduce the amount of liquid you drink and refrain from excreting urine for 2-3 hours before the test. Make sure the test package is sealed before testing and should be opened just before the test. Each package of the test is for single use only.

If the symptoms of “menopausal syndrome” appeared, and your menstrual cycle is regular, the first test should be done in the first week of your cycle (from 1 to 6 days of the cycle). The second test is repeated after one week.
If your menstrual cycle has become irregular for 3-5 months, you can perform the first test on any day of the month. The second test should be performed one week later.
Two tests should be done a week apart to make a diagnosis. This is because FSH levels fluctuate throughout the cycle.

1. Open the pouch and take out the test strip by holding the colored end.
2. Immerse the strip vertically in a container of urine to the mark indicated by the arrows for 10 seconds. Put the test on a horizontal dry surface.
3.Wait for the colored lines to appear. Depending on the FSH content in the urine sample a positive result may be observed after at least 40 seconds. However, a full test time of 5 minutes is required to confirm a negative result. Do not interpret the results after 5 minutes.
