Fluorocort is a GKS for topical use.
Inhibits release of interleukin-1,2, gamma-interferon from lymphocytes and macrophages. Induces formation of lipocortins, inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators by eosinophils, reduces the number and stabilizes the membranes of mast cells.
Accumulating in the epidermis, reduces itching and exudation. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-edema effects.
Indications
Insect bites, Skin itching, Psoriasis, Allergies, Urticaria, Dermatitis, Eczema, Neurodermitis, DermatosisSkin diseases sensitive to glucocorticosteroids: acute and chronic eczema, neurodermitis, contact dermatitis, lichen planus, psoriasis, exfoliative erythrodermia, Leiner’s disease, external otitis media, not complicated by infection, insect bites.

1 g:
– triamcinolone acetonide 1 mg
Supplements:
methylparahydroxybenzoate,
stearic acid,
polysorbate 60,
cetyl alcohol,
liquid paraffin,
glycerol 85%,
purified water.
How to take, the dosage
Externally. Fluorocort ointment is applied to the affected areas of the skin in a thin layer 2-3 times a day. (not more than 15 g/day).
The ointment can be used under an occlusive dressing for lichenified manifestations (not more than 10 g/day).
The course of treatment is usually 5-10 days, with a persistent course up to 25 days, not recommended for more than 4 weeks.
Interaction
The effect of oral GCS is enhanced with topical triamcinolone administration.
Special Instructions
It is not recommended to apply Fluorocort to large surfaces, avoid long-term use in children regardless of age.
Do not use in ophthalmology, do not apply to the skin of the face.
In order to prevent local infectious complications, it is possible to use in combination with antimicrobial agents.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug, viral, bacterial (including tuberculosis), and fungal skin infections, trophic ulcers of the shin, pink acne, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, diaper rash, children under 2 years of age. Do not apply to wounds.
With caution: pregnancy.
Side effects
Local reactions: erythema, hypertrichosis, development of secondary infectious lesions (accession of bacterial and fungal infection) are possible.
Long-term use or application on large areas of the skin may cause systemic side effects characteristic of GCS and atrophic skin changes.
Possible allergic reactions.
Pregnancy use
The use of Ftorokort in pregnant women is allowed in cases where the potential benefit to the mother prevails over the possible risk to the fetus.
It is unknown whether the drug penetrates into breast milk, so you should stop breastfeeding during lactation.
