Pharmacological action – normalizing intestinal microflora, immunostimulating.

Lignin hydrolysis – enterosorbent of natural origin, consisting of products of hydrolysis of wood components, has high sorption activity and non-specific detoxifying effect.

Binds pathogenic bacteria and bacterial toxins, medicines, heavy metal salts, ethanol, allergens and excess of certain metabolic products including bilirubin, cholesterol, histamine, serotonin, urea and other metabolites responsible for the development of endogenous toxicosis.

Lactulose is a synthetic disaccharide whose molecule consists of galactose and fructose residues. In the colon, lactulose is fermented as a substrate by normal intestinal microflora, stimulating the growth of bifidobacteria and lactobacilli.

As a result of hydrolysis of lactulose in the large intestine organic acids are formed – lactic, acetic and formic acids which suppress the growth of pathogenic microorganisms and decrease consequently the production of nitrogen-containing toxic substances. The process described leads to an increase in osmotic pressure in the lumen of the large intestine and stimulates peristalsis.

The complex action of the drug is aimed at normalization of microbiocenosis of the large intestine and reduction of intensity of endogenous toxic conditions.

Indications

– Intestinal microflora disorders, including. As a result of antibiotic therapy;

– irritable bowel syndrome (in complex therapy);

– hepatitis and liver cirrhosis (in complex therapy);

– allergic diseases (atopic dermatitis, urticaria) – in complex therapy.
