Filtrum®-STI is a natural enterosorbent consisting of products of hydrolysis of wood components – lignin polymer whose structural elements are derivatives of phenylpropane and hydrocellulose.

It has high sorption activity and non-specific detoxifying effect.

Binds and removes pathogenic bacteria and bacterial toxins, medicines, poisons, heavy metal salts, alcohol, allergens and excess of certain metabolic products including bilirubin, cholesterol, urea and metabolites responsible for the development of endogenous toxicosis.

Non-toxic, not absorbed, completely eliminated from the intestine within 24 hours.

lignin hydrolysis (in terms of 100% substance) – 400.0 mg,

Excipients:

povidone K17 (polyvinylpyrrolidone) – 54.66 mg,

talc – 13.00 mg,

calcium stearate – 9.75 mg,

colloidal silicon dioxide – 6.50 mg,

croscarmellose sodium – 6.50 mg,

microcrystalline cellulose to give a tablet weight of 600.0 mg

How to take, the dosage

Ingestion, preferably after preliminary crushing, with water an hour before meals and taking other medicines.

The dose of the drug depends on the age, body weight and severity of the disease, the drug is taken 3 – 4 times a day, the average single dose is for children: under 1 year – ½ tablet; 1-3 years – ½-1 tablet; 4-7 years – 1 tablet, 7-12 years – 1-2 tablets; for adults – 2-3 tablets.

Interaction

The therapeutic effect of some concomitantly used drugs may be reduced.

The drug can be used in combination therapy with other drugs, if the rule of separate administration is observed.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the drug. It is not desirable to use the drug in acute gastric and 12 duodenal ulcer disease, intestinal atony.

Side effects

Rarely – allergic reactions, constipation.

Long-term use may lead to impaired absorption of vitamins, calcium, and in this regard, preventive administration of multivitamins and calcium preparations is recommended.

Overdose

There are no known data on overdose of the drug.

Pregnancy use

There are no data on the safety of the drug Filtrum-STI during pregnancy and lactation.
