How to take, the dosage
Ingestion.
1 sachet 1-3 times a day 30 minutes before a meal or 2 hours after a meal.
Periodically, pour a glass of cold water over the contents of 1 sachet, stir it and drink it immediately, then take another glass of liquid.
The course of treatment: in acute constipation – until the disappearance of constipation (1-2 days); in chronic constipation – up to 4 weeks, after a week’s break it may be repeated; anal fissures and hemorrhoids – until no discomfort during defecation (up to 4 weeks, after a week break it may be repeated); in the postoperative period for operations in the anorectal area – on the doctor’s recommendation (up to 4 weeks).
Interaction
Fibralax may delay absorption of concomitantly used drugs.
A gap of 30-60 minutes between taking Fibralax and other drugs should be observed.
Do not prescribe concomitantly with anti-diarrheal drugs or with drugs that inhibit intestinal motility.
Special Instructions
You should drink at least 1.5 liters of fluid per day when taking this medication.
Inappropriate dosing (not drinking enough fluid) may cause irritation of the esophagus or intestines, especially in the elderly.
In patients with insulin-dependent diabetes, it may be necessary to reduce the dose of insulin.
Influence on driving, operating machinery
The drug does not affect the ability to operate vehicles and machinery.
Synopsis
The main active ingredient of the product is the shells of the seeds of the oval plantain.
The mechanism of action of Fibralax is simple: soluble dietary fiber, like a brush, “sweeps” from the intestine accumulated sediments, sorbs and removes “toxins”, toxins, excess sugar, cholesterol and salts of heavy metals.
The peculiarity of the action is that it does not irritate the receptors of the lining of the gastrointestinal tract, but increases intestinal motility by increasing the volume of fiber.
