Valerian roots and rhizomes are a source of valerian and isovalerian acids, valepotriates and other bioactive compounds (over 120), contain up to 3.5 % of essential oil. With all processing methods, except for cryoprocessing, many of them (valerenal, valepotriat, valerine, boronylisovalerianate, etc.) are technologically unavailable. The substances and even the smell of valerian have a powerful sedative and hypnotic effect. The plant also has an antispasmodic effect and improves myocardial function in cardioneuroses.

Pearmint (leaves) is a source of essential oil, rich in menthol, resinous and tannins, flavonoids and organic acids. It has soothing, analgesic, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Melissa herbalis (leaves) has sedative, tranquilizing, antispasmodic, immunomodulatory, anti-allergenic, antiviral and antimicrobial properties.
