Etamsilat-Escom 125mg/ml 2ml 10 pcs.

Anthemorrhagic agent.

Normalizes the permeability of the vascular wall, improves microcirculation. The action is apparently due to the activating effect on the formation of thromboplastin.

It does not affect prothrombin time, has no hypercoagulative properties and does not promote the formation of blood clots.

The onset of action is 5-15 min after the intravenous injection, the maximum effect is 1-2 h after injection. The duration of action is 4-6 hours.

Indications

Prevention and treatment of capillary bleeding in diabetic angiopathies, during surgical interventions in otolaryngological practice, in ophthalmology, dentistry, urology, surgery and gynecology; emergency cases of intestinal and pulmonary bleeding, hemorrhagic diathesis.

Active ingredient

Composition

1 ml etamsilate 125 mg

Associated substances:

sodium disulfite 2.5 mg,

Sodium sulfite anhydrous 1 mg,

Sodium edetate dihydrate 0.5 mg,

water d/i to 1 ml.

How to take, the dosage

When administered orally, 250-500 mg 3-4 times per day; intravenously or intravenously, 125-250 mg 3-4 times per day. If necessary, the single dose for oral administration can be increased to 750 mg, for parenteral administration to 375 mg.

In children – 10-15 mg/kg/day, 3 times a day in equal doses.

When used externally a sterile swab soaked in etamsilat (in the form of solution for injection) is applied to the wound.

Interaction

Pharmaceutically incompatible with other drugs.

Contraindications

Thrombosis, thromboembolism, hypersensitivity to etamsilat.

Etamsylate should not be used as the only remedy if the patient has hemorrhages caused by anticoagulants.

Side effects

Perhaps heartburn, a feeling of heaviness in the epigastric region, headache, dizziness, facial hyperemia, decreased systolic blood pressure, and paresthesias of the lower extremities.
