Essential phospholipids:

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of Essentiale N; children under 3 years of age.

With caution: pregnancy, due to the presence of benzyl alcohol in the drug, which can penetrate the placental barrier (the use of drugs containing benzyl alcohol in full-term or premature newborns has been associated with the development of dyspnea syndrome with a fatal outcome).

Side Effects

On the part of the immune system: rarely, due to the content of benzyl alcohol in the drug, hypersensitivity reactions may develop;

very rarely – possible allergic skin reactions (rash, exanthema or urticaria);

unknown frequency – itching.
