Pharmacotherapeutic group:

The diuretic of plant origin.

Pharmacological properties:

The infusion of Erva woolly herb has diuretic as well as moderate anti-inflammatory effects.

With the removal of sodium and calcium ions and, to some extent, potassium ions is noted.

When using the drug there is also a tendency to decrease the content of urea in blood serum.

Indications

As part of the complex therapy in adults as a diuretic in moderately pronounced edematous syndrome, infectious and inflammatory kidney disease (pyelonephritis).

Ervine woolly herb.

How to take, the dosage

The infusion is prepared by one of the following methods.

1 method: about 5 g (2 tablespoons) of Erva woolly grass put in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover and heat on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the remaining raw material. The volume of the resulting infusion bring boiled water to 200 ml.

2nd method: about 5 grams (2 tablespoons) of Ervus woolly herb put in a thermos, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water and infuse for 1 hour. The volume of the resulting infusion is adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml.

Warm oral intake is 1/2-1/4 cup 2-3 times daily 15 minutes before a meal. The course of treatment is from 10 to 30 days. It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
