The drug has immunostimulatory and anti-inflammatory effects.

It increases phagocytic activity of neutrophils and macrophages, stimulates production of interleukin-1, induces transformation of B-lymphocytes into plasma cells, increases T-helper function, stimulates medullary hematopoiesis, resulting in increased number of leukocytes and reticulo-endothelial cells.

Composition

Per 100 g of the solution:

The active ingredient: Echinacea purpurea herb juice (1.7-2.5:1) – 80 g.

Auxiliary substances: ethanol 96% – 18.1 g, water – 1.9 g.

How to take, the dosage

Administer orally, diluted or with plenty of liquid.

Children from 4 to 6 years of age – 1,25 ml 3 times a day.

Children from 6 to 12 years of age – 2,0 ml 3 times a day.

Adults and children over 12 years – 2,5 ml 3 times a day.

The course of treatment should not exceed 2 weeks. To determine the appropriateness of subsequent courses of treatment it is necessary to consult a physician.

Interaction

Possible to use simultaneously with antibiotics and other antimicrobial drugs.

The alcohol in the composition may affect the effectiveness of other drugs (in particular, reduce the activity of immunosuppressants, change the effect of cephalosporin derivatives and ethanol-containing drinks).

Special Instructions

The drug contains about 22% alcohol. The risk group includes patients with epilepsy, alcoholism, liver dysfunction, diseases, brain damage, craniocerebral trauma.

When the drug is taken with cephalosporin derivatives or ethanol-containing drinks, nausea, sweating, headache, and palpitations may occur.

Caution should be exercised when driving vehicles or engaging in other potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration and quick psychomotor reactions.
