Doctor TAYSS tincture ECHINACEA FORTE is a herbal remedy. Echinacea purpurea herb contains water-soluble immunostimulatory polysaccharides (4-O-methylglucuronylarabinoxylans, acidic arabinoramino-galactans); essential oils (components include germacrene alcohol, borneol, bornylacetate, pentadeca-8-ene-2-one, germacrene D, caryophyllin, caryophyllin epoxide); Flavonoids (ferulic acid its derivatives including cicoric acid, cicoric acid methyl ester, 2-O-copheoyl-3-O-feruloyl tartaric acid, 2,3-O-diferuloyl tartaric acid, 2-O-copheoyl tartaric acid); alkamides; polyenes.

It has immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory effects. Polysaccharides increase phagocytic activity of neutrophils and macrophages, stimulate the production of interleukin-1.

The complex of active substances induce transformation of B-lymphocytes into plasma cells, improve the function of T-helpers. Thanks to the inulin, levulese, betaine improves metabolic processes, especially in the liver and kidneys.

Indications

Increased nonspecific body defense factors in uncomplicated acute infectious diseases and with a predisposition to frequent colds;
in order to stimulate the immune system in patients with uncomplicated acute infectious diseases (as an auxiliary treatment);
prevention of ARVI and influenza;
as an adjuvant drug for long-term antibiotic therapy of chronic infectious diseases.

Pharmacological effect

Tincture DOCTOR THEISS ECHINACEA FORTE is a herbal product. Special instructions

Dr. Theiss Echinacea Forte contains 22% alcohol by volume.

Caution should be exercised when driving vehicles and operating mechanical equipment.

Use with caution in persons with liver disease and alcoholism.

juice squeezed from fresh flowering plant Echinacea purpurea 75.6 ml.

Excipient:

ethanol 90% (vol.%).

Pregnancy

Dr. Theiss Echinacea tincture is not recommended during pregnancy, lactation and children under 12 years of age

Contraindications

Tuberculosis, leukemia, autoimmune diseases (including collagenosis), widespread atherosclerosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infection, children under 4 years of age (for the dosage form – tablets), and up to 1 year (for the dosage form – drops), hypersensitivity to Echinacea and plants of the Asteraceae family.

Interaction

Reduces the effectiveness of immunosuppressants.
