Ditsinon is a hemostatic, anti-hemorrhagic and angioprotective substance, normalizes the permeability of the vascular wall, improves microcirculation.
Stimulates platelet formation and their exit from the bone marrow. Hemostatic action is due to activation of thromboplastin formation at the site of injury of small vessels and reduction of formation of prostacyclin PgI2 in the vascular endothelium,
Ditsinon promotes platelet adhesion and aggregation, which ultimately leads to stopping or reducing bleeding. It increases the rate of primary thrombus formation and enhances its retraction, with little effect on fibrinogen concentration and prothrombin time.
Doses greater than 2-10 mg/kg do not result in a more pronounced effect. With repeated injections, thrombosis increases. The angioprotective effect of Dicynon is associated with its effect on the endothelium of capillaries and basic substances of interendothelial spaces.
With anti-hyaluronidase activity and stabilizing ascorbic acid it prevents the destruction and promotes the formation of mucopolysaccharides with a large molecular weight in the capillary wall, increases capillary resistance, reduces their fragility, normalizes the permeability of pathological processes. It reduces fluid output and diapedesis of blood forming elements from the vascular bed and improves microcirculation.
This angioprotective effect is seen in the treatment of various diseases associated with primary or secondary disorders of the microcirculation process. It does not have hypercoagulative properties, does not promote thrombosis and does not have a vasoconstrictor effect. It restores pathologically changed bleeding time. Normal parameters of the hemostasis system are not affected.
Dicynon has almost no effect on the composition of peripheral blood, its proteins and lipoproteins. It slightly increases the content of fibrinogen. The erythrocyte sedimentation rate may slightly decrease. In addition, it normalizes or reduces pathologically increased capillary permeability and fragility.

How to take, the dosage
The optimal daily dose for adults is 10-20 mg/kg body weight divided into 3-4 doses. In most cases the single dose is 250-500 mg 3-4 times/day. In exceptional cases, the single dose may be increased to 750 mg 3-4 times a day.
In case of menorrhagia, 750-1000 mg/day are prescribed from the 5th day of expected menstruation until the 5th day of the next menstrual cycle.
In the postoperative period, the drug is prescribed in a single dose of 250-500 mg every 6 hours until the risk of bleeding disappears.
In children, a daily dose of 10-15 mg/kg is prescribed in 3-4 doses.
Interaction
Injection at a dose of 10 mg/kg body weight 1 h before the administration of dextrans prevents their antiaggregant effect. Administration of Dicinon after administration of dextrans has no hemostatic effect.
Combination with aminocaproic acid and sodium bisulfite menadione is possible.
Pharmaceutical interactions
Pharmaceutically incompatible (in the same syringe) with other drugs.
Incompatible with sodium bicarbonate solution for injection and sodium lactate solution.
Special Instructions
Before starting treatment, other causes of bleeding should be excluded.
1 tablet of Dicinon contains 60.5 mg of lactose (maximum daily dose of lactose should not exceed 5 g). The drug should not be used in patients with congenital glucose intolerance, lactase lapp deficiency (lactase deficiency in some people of the North) or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome.
Impact on the ability to drive and operate machinery
No special precautions are required.
Contraindications
The drug should be prescribed with caution in thrombosis, thromboembolism in the history, bleeding against overdose of anticoagulants.
Side effects
CNS and peripheral nervous system disorders: headache, dizziness, paresthesias of the lower extremities.
Digestive system disorders: nausea, heartburn, heaviness in the epigastric region.
Others: allergic reactions, facial hyperemia, decreased systolic BP.
