Composition

1 capsule levomenthol solution in mentyl isovalerate 100 mg

Associates:

α-tocopherol acetate (Vit. E) – 0.45 mg,

refined olive oil – q.s. up to 160 mg.

Capsule shell composition:

gelatin – 72 mg,

purified water – 56.2384 mg,

glycerol – 31.5216 mg,

methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) – 0.24 mg.

How to take, the dosage

Cormentol is prescribed for adults under the tongue, 1 capsule 2-3 times a day.

The capsule should be kept under the tongue until its complete resorption.

The daily frequency and duration of administration is determined according to the effectiveness of the treatment.

If there is insufficient therapeutic effect or if some patients have no effect within 5 minutes after taking the drug, a physician should be seen.

Interaction

It is allowed to use the drug in combination with drugs that improve metabolic processes (vitamins, potassium and magnesium asparaginate, inosine, etc.).

When used concomitantly it may increase the effect of hypotensive drugs, the sedative effect of psychotropic agents, opioid analgesics, agents for general and local anesthesia and ethanol.

Special Instructions

The simultaneous use of alcohol is not recommended.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and machines:

Due to possible side effects (dizziness, somnolence) during treatment with the drug, caution should be exercised when driving vehicles, operating machinery or engaging in potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and rapid psychomotor reactions.

Contraindications

High sensitivity to the drug components, acute myocardial infarction, acute cerebral circulation disorders, severe arterial hypotension, children under 18 years of age (efficacy and safety have not been established).

Side effects

Nausea, abdominal discomfort, lacrimation, dizziness, also short-term decrease of blood pressure, drowsiness are possible. The described effects are usually transient, disappear on their own, and do not require discontinuation of the drug.

In rare cases allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, angioedema) may occur.

Overdose
