Acute and chronic circulatory disorders, decreased vascular tone, weakened breathing (including patients with infectious diseases and convalescents), acute collapse, asphyxia, shock conditions during and after operations, asphyxia in newborns, drug poisoning, sleeping pills, analgesics.

Composition

1 ml of the drug contains:

the active ingredient – nikethamide 250.0 mg;

supplement- water for injection up to 1.0 ml.

Interaction

The convulsive effect of Cordiamine is increased by reserpine, the excitatory effect regarding the respiratory center is eliminated by anesthetics, the effect of the drug is weakened by PASC and saluside, the analeptic effect and the convulsive effect are weakened by aminazine and other phenothiazine derivatives.

It enhances the effects of psychostimulants and antidepressants. Reduces the effects of narcotic analgesics, hypnotics, neuroleptics, tranquilizers and anticonvulsants.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, epilepsy, history of tonic-clonic seizures, hyperthermia in children.

Side effects

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose: increased severity of dose-dependent side effects, generalized tonic-clonic convulsions.

Management measures in case of overdose: treatment with symptomatic (including anticonvulsants).
