Active ingredient

Niketamide

Composition

1 ml of the drug contains:

active ingredient – niketamide 250.0 mg;

excipient – water for injection up to 1.0 ml.

Pregnancy

There is no reliable data on the safety of using the drug during
pregnancy and lactation. It is not recommended to use this drug in
period of pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, epilepsy, history of tonic-clonic seizures, hyperthermia in children.

Side Effects

From the digestive system: vomiting.

Interaction

The convulsive effect of Cordiamin is enhanced by reserpine, the stimulating effect on the respiratory center is eliminated by anesthesia, the effect of the drug is weakened by PAS and saluzide, and aminazine and other phenothiazine derivatives lead to a weakening of the analeptic effect and convulsive effect.

Enhances the effects of psychostimulants and antidepressants. Reduces the effect of narcotic analgesics, sleeping pills, neuroleptics, tranquilizers, anticonvulsants.

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose: increased severity of dose-dependent side effects, generalized tonic-clonic convulsions.

Measures to assist in case of overdose: symptomatic treatment (including anticonvulsants).
