Pharmacological properties

Combined drug – balanced with the daily requirement of vitamins and minerals in children. Compatibility of the components is ensured by special technology of production of vitamin and mineral complexes.

The action of the product is due to the effects of its constituent components:

Retinol (vitamin A) – provides functional activity of the organs of vision. It is necessary for the health condition of the skin, teeth and hair.

a-Tocopherol acetate (vitamin E), has antioxidant properties, prevents cell damage, has a positive effect on the function of the nervous and muscular tissues.

Calciferol (vitamin D3) – regulates the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus in the body by promoting the process of osteogenesis. With a lack of it, calcium homeostasis and phosphorus metabolism is disturbed, and muscle strength and tone are reduced. It is necessary for the normal formation of bones and teeth.

Thiamine (vitamin B1) is involved in carbohydrate metabolism, normalizes the nervous and cardiovascular systems.

Riboflavin (vitamin B2) is an important catalyst in the processes of cellular respiration and visual perception. It participates in carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism, as well as in the synthesis of hemoglobin and erythropoietin.

Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is involved in protein metabolism and the synthesis of neurotransmitters.

Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) – is involved in the synthesis of nucleotides, is an important factor in normal growth, hematopoiesis and development of epithelial cells, is necessary for the metabolism of folic acid and the synthesis of myelin.

Nicotinamide (vitamin PP) is involved in the processes of tissue respiration, fat and carbohydrate metabolism.

Folic acid – is involved in the synthesis of amino acids, nucleotides, nucleic acids, is necessary for normal erythropoiesis.

Calcium pantothenate – plays an important role in the processes of acetylation and oxidation; helps build and regenerate epithelium and endothelium.

Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) – provides synthesis of collagen, is involved in the formation and maintenance of structure and function of cartilage, bones, teeth, is involved in iron metabolism, maturation of red blood cells. Vitamin C increases resistance to infections, reduces inflammatory reactions.

Magnesium – plays an important role in the regulation of neuromuscular activity of the heart, is involved in many enzymatic reactions, as well as in protein synthesis.

Calcium – essential for bone formation, nerve impulse conduction, contraction of skeletal and smooth muscles, and blood clotting.

Iodine-is necessary for the synthesis of thyroid hormones that regulate physical and mental development.

Indications

Prevention of vitamin and mineral deficiency in children from 3 to 10 years:

– after infectious diseases;

– with increased physical and mental exertion;

– with regular sports activities;

Composition

1 tablet contains

α-tocopherol acetate (Vit. E) 5 mg,

ascorbic acid (Vit. C) 30 mg,

calcium (in the form of dihydrate phosphate) 65 mg,

calcium pantothenate (Vit. B5) 2 mg,

colocalciferol (vit. D3) 50 IU (1.2 mcg),

magnesium (in the form of oxide) 25 mg,

iodine (in the form of sodium iodite) 50 mcg,

nicotinamide (vit. PP) 7.5 mg,

pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vit. B6) 800 µg,

retinol acetate (Vit. A) 1017 IU (350 µg),

Riboflavin (Vit. B2) 700 µg,

thiamine hydrochloride (Vit. B1) 600 µg,

folic acid (Vit. Bc) 100 µg,

Cyanocobalamin (Vit. B12) 1 µg.

Auxiliary substances: Crosspovidone – 30 mg, potato starch – 6.67 mg, modified starch – 4 mg, dextrose (glucose) – 200 mg, collicoate®Protect (macrogol and polyvinyl alcohol copolymer 55-65%, polyvinyl alcohol 35-45%, silicon dioxide 0.1-0.3%) – 0.125 mg, magnesium stearate – 10 mg, talc – 10 mg, banana or cherry flavoring – 4 mg, aspartame (E 951) – 0.24 mg, sucrose (white sugar) – 360.40604 mg.

How to take, the dosage

The drug is taken orally after a meal. The tablet should be chewed and drunk with a small amount of water.

Children from 3 to 6 years old take 1 tablet once a day, from 6 to 10 years – 1 tablet twice a day.

The duration of the drug is 1 month.

Interaction

The simultaneous use of other multivitamin complexes is not recommended to avoid overdose.

The drug contains calcium, so it delays absorption in the intestine of antibiotics from the tetracycline and fluoroquinolones groups.

Special Instructions

To avoid overdose, the dosing regimen of the drug should be strictly followed.

In case of allergic reactions to the components of the drug, the drug should be discontinued.

The color of urine may turn bright yellow, which is absolutely harmless because of riboflavin in the drug.

Impact on ability to drive vehicles, mechanisms

The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and perform other potentially dangerous activities requiring increased concentration and quick psychomotor reactions.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Children under 3 years of age.

Hypervitaminosis A. Hypervitaminosis D.

Disordered thyroid function.

Phenylketonuria.

Sugar/isomaltose deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Overdose

If the therapeutic dose is repeatedly exceeded, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle weakness due to hypervitaminosis of vitamin A and D3 may occur.

Please see a doctor if there is an overdose.

Treatment: temporary discontinuation of the drug, gastric lavage, oral administration of activated charcoal, symptomatic treatment.
