The mechanism of action of diclofenac is associated with inhibition of cyclooxygenase activity – the main enzyme of arachidonic acid metabolism, which is a precursor of prostaglandins that play a major role in the pathogenesis of inflammation, pain and fever. Thiamine (vitamin B1) in the human body as a result of phosphorylation processes is converted into cocarboxylase, which is a coenzyme of many enzymatic reactions.

Indications

Indications for use of the drug Clodifen Neuro are:
– pain syndrome during inflammation of a non-rheumatic nature (after injuries, surgical and dental interventions; for gynecological diseases – primary algodismenorrhea, adnexitis; for inflammatory diseases of the ENT organs – pharyngitis, tonsillitis, otitis);
– inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the spine and joints (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis – ankylosing spondylitis, spondyloarthritis,
spondyloarthrosis, osteoarthrosis);
– neuritis and neuralgia (cervical syndrome, lumbago, sciatica);
– acute gouty arthritis;
– rheumatic diseases of periarticular soft tissues.

Contraindications

Contraindications to the use of the drug Clodifen Neuro are: hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum; III trimester of pregnancy; children up to 12 years old.

Side Effects

Side effects depend on individual sensitivity, the dose taken and the duration of treatment.

From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea can sometimes be observed, rarely – lack of appetite, abdominal cramps, a feeling of fullness in the stomach, the development of ulcers in the gastrointestinal tract, which in some cases leads to the appearance of blood in the stool.

Overdose

Symptoms of an overdose of Clodifen Neuro: vomiting, dizziness, headache, shortness of breath, clouding of consciousness; in children – myoclonic convulsions, nausea, abdominal pain, bleeding, impaired liver and kidney function.

Store in a place protected from moisture and light at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
