Acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) has antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects, reduces pain, improves microcirculation in the inflammation.
Paracetamolol has analgesic, antipyretic and very weak anti-inflammatory.
Caffeine reduces sleepiness, fatigue, improves mental and physical performance, increases the tone of the brain vessels.

Indications

Migraine, Pain, Colds, Toothache, Neuralgia, Fever, Arthritis, Neuritis, Lumbago, Headache, Painful menstruation (algodysmenorrhea), Pain in the joints (arthralgia), Myalgia (muscle pain), Arthritis, Flu

Pain syndrome of mild to moderate intensity (different genesis):

Composition

1 tablet contains:
active ingredients:
acetylsalicylic acid – 0,24 g
paracetamol – 0,18 g
caffeine (in terms of caffeine monohydrate) – 0,03 g
excipients:
cocoa bean powder – 0,0225 g
citric acid monohydrate – 0,0050 g
potato starch – 0,0615 g
talcum powder – 0,0055 g
calcium stearate – 0,0055 g

How to take, the dosage

Internal (during or after meals). Adults and children over 15 years old take 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day. A break between doses of the drug should be at least 4 hours. The average daily dose is 3-4 tablets, the maximum daily dose is 8 tablets. The course of treatment should not exceed 7-10 days. The drug should not be used for more than 5 days as an analgesic and for more than 3 days as an antipyretic (without physician’s prescription and supervision). Other doses and regimens are determined by the doctor.

Interaction

ASK: increases the effect of heparin, indirect anticoagulants, reserpine, steroid hormones, hypoglycemic agents. Concomitant use with methotrexate and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs increases the risk of side effects. Reduces the effectiveness of spironolactone, furosemide, hypotensive drugs, antipodagric agents.

Special Instructions

Long-term use of the drug requires monitoring of peripheral blood and liver function.

Because ASA slows blood clotting, the patient should warn the physician in advance about taking the drug if he or she is to undergo surgery.

Asc in low doses reduces uric acid excretion. In patients with a predisposition to this, it can trigger a gout attack in some cases.

At the time of treatment, ethanol should be avoided (increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding).

Performance to influence reaction time while driving or operating machinery

By avoid driving vehicles and operating other machinery, because the caffeine in the drug may decrease concentration and reaction time.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity; erosive-ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract (acute phase); gastrointestinal bleeding; complete or incomplete combination of bronchial asthma, recurrent nasal and paranasal sinus polyposis, and intolerance to ASA or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (including history); hemophilia, hemorrhagic diathesis, hypoprothrombinemia; portal hypertension; K avitaminosis; renal insufficiency; pregnancy, lactation; glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency; Degree III arterial hypertension; severe coronary heart disease; glaucoma; excessive excitability; sleep disturbances; surgical operations accompanied by bleeding; childhood (before 15 years – risk of Reye syndrome in children with hyperthermia caused by viral diseases).

With caution
Gout, hyperuricemia; peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding (in anamnesis); renal or hepatic insufficiency, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hay fever, nasal polyposis, drug allergy; concomitant use of methotrexate at a dose less than 15 mg/week; concomitant therapy with anticoagulants; advanced age.

Side effects

Allergic reactions (including Stevens-Johnson syndrome, Lyell), bronchospasm. Gastrointestinal tract: gastralgia, nausea, vomiting, hepatotoxicity, gastrointestinal erosive ulcers. Blood system: with prolonged use – decreased platelet aggregation, hypocoagulation, hemorrhagic syndrome (nose bleeding, bleeding gums, purpura, etc.).

Overdose

Symptoms due to ASA: in mild intoxication – nausea, vomiting, gastralgia, dizziness, tinnitus; in severe intoxication – lethargy, somnolence, collapse, seizures, bronchospasm, difficulty in breathing, anuria, bleeding, encephalopathy, coma.

Pregnancy use

Use during pregnancy and lactation is contraindicated.
