How to take, the dosage

Cinnabsin is taken orally, slowly sucking it up, half an hour before or half an hour after a meal. Children from 3-6 years should dissolve a tablet of Cinnabsin in a small amount of liquid before taking it, or give it in crushed form, under the tongue.

In acute illnesses in adults and children over 12 years of age – 1 tablet every hour (but no more than 12 times a day) until improvement, then – 1-2 tablets 3 times a day (until complete recovery). Children 3-6 years – 1 tablet every 2 hours (but no more than 6 times a day) until improvement, then – 1/2 tablet 3 times a day until full recovery; children 6-12 years – 1 tablet every hour (but no more than 7-8 times a day) until improvement, then – 1 tablet 2 times a day until full recovery.

In the chronic course of the disease – 1 tablet 3 times a day until improvement. Children 3-6 years old – 1/2 tablet 3 times a day, 6-12 years old – 1 tablet 2 times a day. The course of Cinnabacin is up to 2 months.

Interaction

There are no drug interactions between the drug Cinnabacin and other medicinal products.

Because of the wheat starch content, taking this medication may adversely affect patients with celiac disease.

Homeopathic remedies may cause a temporary initial worsening. If this happens, stop taking the medication and consult a physician.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to chromium, Echinacea (Echinacea narrowleaf) or other varieties of the Compositae family, children under 3 years of age (insufficient clinical data).

Side effects

Salivation is increased (requires dose reduction or discontinuation of the drug and consultation with a physician); allergic reactions are possible, in isolated cases – skin reactions (requires discontinuation of the drug and consultation with a physician).

Overdose

There are currently no reported cases of overdose of Cinnabacin.
