Pharmacological action
It has antibacterial (bacteriostatic and bactericidal) action, especially against staphylococci, including antibiotic resistant strains. It has anti-inflammatory effect.

How to take, the dosage

It is administered orally and topically.

When administered orally in adults, 5 ml of chlorophyllipt is diluted in 30 ml of water. For intestinal sanitation with staphylococcal carriage and prevention of postoperative complications the drug is prescribed 3 times a day 40 minutes before meals daily for 2-3 weeks. During bowel sanitation drug is also administered in an enema – 20 ml of 1% alcohol solution diluted with 1 liter of water (the dose for 1 enema.). enema with chlorophyllipt put every 2 days. The course of treatment consists of 10 procedures.

When applied topically (for treating burns, long-lasting wounds and trophic ulcers of extremities), chlorophyllipt in 1% alcohol solution is diluted with 0.25% Novocaine solution at 1:5 ratio and used in the form of gauze bandages soaked in the solution. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

In the treatment of cervical erosion all folds of the mucous membrane of the vagina and the vaginal part of the cervix are tampon-dried and the cervical canal is smeared with chlorophyllipt alcohol solution diluted 1:10. The manipulation shall be performed daily for 10 days, after which the patient shall be given douches with the solution of the drug (1 tablespoon of chlorophyllipt alcohol solution 1% for 1 liter of water) for 2 weeks. If the epithelialization of the erosion is incomplete, the treatment should be repeated.
