Chamomile flowers – a phytotherapy tool.

The complex of biologically active substances of chamomile flowers (essential oil, azulene, flavonoids, polysaccharides, vitamins, etc.) has:

– antispasmodic;

– anti-inflammatory;

– antiseptic;

– sedative;

– diaphoretic;

– analgesic;

– anti-ulcer.

The mechanism of antispasmodic action is explained by the m-cholinolytic properties of the glycosides of the plant.

It increases bile secretion, secretion of digestive glands, reduces fermentation in the intestine.

Indications

For oral administration:

– spastic conditions of the gastrointestinal tract;

– flatulence;

– gastritis;

– gastric and 12 duodenal ulcer;

– colitis;

– enterocolitis;

– diseases of the liver and biliary tract;

– painful menstruation;

– uterine bleeding;

– neuroses.

For topical use:

– inflammatory diseases of the mouth and pharynx (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sore throat);

– infectious and inflammatory diseases of the urogenital system;

– inflammation of the skin, wounds, ulcers.

Composition

How to take, the dosage

It is used orally, externally, topically. Dosing regimen depends on the indications for use.

2 filter pack (3 g) was placed in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover and infused for 15 minutes, occasionally pressing down on the bags with a spoon, then they squeeze. The volume of the resulting infusion bring boiled water to 100 ml.

Take internally in warm form, 2-3 tablespoons 2-3 times a day before meals.

For mikroklizm use 50 ml of warm infusion 1-2 times a day.
