Indications

Birch mushroom (Chaga) (Fungus betulinus) is used in the form of infusion and for the preparation of “Befungin” used as an analgesic and general tonic in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and as a symptomatic agent that improves the general condition of cancer patients.

Application in scientific medicine: used in chronic gastritis, gastrointestinal dyskinesia with signs of atony, gastric and duodenal ulcer, and as a symptomatic treatment in cancer patients.

Application in folk medicine: Chaga has long been used in folk medicine against internal cancer, although it is not a means of getting rid of the patient’s tumor and does not delay its growth. The reason for its popularity is that decoctions and infusions of the mushroom have a beneficial effect even on severe patients: they feel better and have less pain.
