Zernilton forte has anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effects, helps regulate metabolic processes.

One of the pharmacological properties of the drug is dose-dependent inhibition of COX and 5-lipoxygenase, which leads to inhibition of synthesis of inflammatory mediators of the arachidonic acid cycle: prostaglandins and leukotrienes and as a result to reduction of inflammation and edema of prostate tissue.

The drug helps to eliminate pain syndrome.

Cernilton forte has a muscle relaxant effect which leads to relaxation of the smooth muscle elements of the posterior urethral wall and improves urination.

The drug reduces the volume of the prostate due to inhibition of 5-α-reductase, selectively blocks the αl-adrenoreceptors of smooth muscle elements of the urethra and has an anti-androgenic effect. Helps to improve erectile function.

Indications

As part of complex therapy:

acute and chronic prostatitis,
benign prostatic hyperplasia,
