Indications

The drug is used on third-degree burns to accelerate the detachment of scabs and to free wounds from suppuration and necrotic tissues.

How to take, the dosage

Caripazim is used topically in the form of 0.5%, 1% or 2% solutions depending on the thickness of the scab.

The solutions are prepared ex tempore with 0.5% novocaine solution or isotonic sodium chloride solution.

A napkin soaked with the drug is applied to the burned surface and covered with a waterproof dressing.

No more than 30% of the total body surface is treated at a time.

The dressing is changed once a day or once every two days while removing the detached necrotic tissues.

The course of treatment is 4 to 12 days.

The drug Caripazim has no adverse effect on the ability to drive and operate machinery.
