Calcium rosuvastatin – 10.42 mg (in terms of rosuvastatin 10.00 mg).

Auxiliary substances:

Microcrystalline cellulose, 98.38 mg;

Pregelatinized starch, 48.00 mg;

Colloidal silica (aerosil) – 1.60 mg;

Magnesium stearate – 1.60 mg.

Pill coating:

Opadray II pink 6.40 mg (polyvinyl alcohol – 2.56 mg, titanium dioxide – 1.56 mg, macrogol (polyethylene glycol) – 1.30 mg, talc – 0.94 mg, carmine red dye (E120) – 0.04 mg).

Contraindications

With caution:

Risk for myopathy/rhabdomyolysis – renal failure, hypothyroidism, personal or family history of hereditary muscle disease and prior history of muscle toxicity with other HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors or fibrates; alcohol dependence; age over 65 years; conditions with increased plasma concentrations of rosuvastatin; race (Asian race – Japanese and Chinese); concomitant use with fibrates; history of liver disease; sepsis; arterial hypotension; major surgery, trauma, severe metabolic, endocrine or electrolyte disorders or uncontrolled seizures.

Patients with hepatic impairment: There is no data or experience with the drug in patients with a Child-Pugh score greater than 9.

Pregnancy and lactation: Rosuvastatin is contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation. Since cholesterol and substances synthesized from cholesterol are important for fetal development, the potential risk of HMG-CoA reductase inhibition exceeds the benefits of using the drug in pregnancy.

If pregnancy is diagnosed during therapy, the drug should be discontinued immediately.

Women of reproductive age should use adequate contraceptive methods.
