Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, violation of the integrity of the skin or inflammatory skin diseases at the site of intended application (including dermatitis, eczema), pregnancy, breastfeeding, children under 18 years of age (due to the lack of data on the safety of the drug in this category of patients).

Side Effects

Allergic skin reactions (urticaria), skin irritation, headache, dizziness.

Overdose

Symptoms

Excitement, tachycardia, convulsions.

Treatment is symptomatic.

Action

When absorbed from the surface of the skin, it is partially oxidized. The products of its oxidation combine with glucuronic acid and are excreted by the kidneys. Part of the camphor is excreted unchanged by the respiratory tract and with bile.
