Pharmic action:

Cameton is a combination drug whose action is determined by its constituent ingredients.

Chlorobutanol hemidrate has a mild anesthetic, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.

The racemic camphor has an irritant and partially antiseptic effect, increases blood flow in the area of application.
Levomenthol has a local irritant effect accompanied by a feeling of cold, slight burning and tingling, has a local anesthetic effect, also has mild antiseptic properties.

Eucalyptus leaf oil has a stimulating effect on the receptors of mucous membranes and also has a weak local anti-inflammatory and antiseptic activity.

There are no data on the pharmacokinetics of the drug due to low systemic absorption.

Special instructions

When spraying in the nasal cavity, do not tilt your head back or turn the container upside down. It is not recommended to use the same cylinder by more than one person to avoid the spread of infection. When spraying the drug, avoid contact with the eyes.

The contents of the cylinders are under pressure, therefore the cylinders should be protected from shock and direct sunlight and should not be heated, broken, punctured or burned, even when empty.

Composition

1 bottle contains:

Active ingredients (content in one bottle):

chlorobutanol hemihydrate,

synthetic camphor,

L-menthol (levomenthol),

eucalyptus oil 0.1 g;

Excipient:

isopropyl myristate,

propellant R 134a (1,1,1,2 tetrafluoroethane).

Pregnancy

There is no sufficient experience with the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation.

If it is necessary to use the drug during pregnancy, the potential benefit to the mother and the possible risk to the fetus should be assessed.

Due to the low systemic absorption of the components that make up the drug, it can be used during breastfeeding.

Contraindicated for children under 5 years of age.

Side Effects

Individual intolerance and allergic reactions in the form of skin rash are possible, which go away on their own after discontinuation of the drug.

When using the drug, slight burning and tingling sensations are possible.

Interaction

Systemic effects when using the drug as directed are practically excluded, which allows the parallel use of other drugs without the danger of their interaction with the components of the drug.
