Pharmacological action
Kalium iodatum are colorless or opalescent crystals with a bitter-salty taste, soluble in water and alcohol.

Indications

Key symptoms for prescribing the drug

pain syndrome (pressing pain of various localization in the head area);
irritability of the mucous membranes with copious discharge.

Main clinical applications

Otorhinolaryngology

acute and allergic rhinosinusitis with burning, watery, profuse discharge, accompanied by sneezing and lacrimation;
acute frontal sinusitis, accompanied by redness and swelling of the nose, with a feeling of constriction at the base of the nose;
subacute laryngitis with dysphonia caused by moderate swelling.

Ophthalmology

allergic or infectious conjunctivitis.

Rheumatology

arthralgia, worse at night or from warm winds before rain;
pain in the joints, accompanied by a desire to move and be in the fresh air;
night bone pain;
arthralgia caused by hyperuricemia.
