Overly, after meals, with plenty of fluids.
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet (30 mg) 3 times daily.
If necessary, 2 tablets (60 mg) 2 times daily can be given to increase the therapeutic effect.
In severe cases, the dose is not reduced during the whole course of treatment.
Children under 12 years of age should not take Bronchorus in the syrup form.
It is not recommended that the medicine be taken more than 5 days without consulting a doctor.
Interaction
Simultaneous use of the drug Bronchorus with anti-cough drugs leads to difficulty in expectoration of sputum with a reduction of cough.
Ambroxol increases penetration into the bronchial secretion of amoxicillin, cefuroxime, erythromycin and doxycycline.
Special Instructions
Do not combine with anti-cough drugs that make it difficult to expectorate.
The drug in syrup form does not contain sugar. The syrup can be taken in diabetics: 5 ml of the syrup contains sorbitol and saccharine in the amount equivalent to 0.18 units.
The syrup product can have a laxative effect, because the sorbitol content in a daily dose can exceed 10 mg (600 mg sorbitol in 1 ml syrup, and the daily dose can be up to 30 ml, so 18 g sorbitol).
