Pharmacological action
Bryonia is a climbing perennial plant with a large rhizome. Bryonia base is used in homeopathy. The mother tincture is prepared from the fresh underground parts of the plant.
The chemical composition:
– sterols;
– unsaturated fatty acids;
– triterpenes;
– lectins;
– cucurbitacin heterosides, similar in structure to corticosteroids.
Indications
Key symptoms for prescribing the drug
- Pain syndrome with a clear pinpoint localization, worsening with movement;
- high thirst with a need for plenty of cold water;
- dry mucous membranes (mouth, nose, etc.д.), lesions of mucous membranes;
- Pain in the right subcostal area, accompanied by bouts of nausea;
- the stomach area is sensitive on palpation;
- dizziness.
Main Clinical Applications
Infectology
Infectious diseases, the prescription is particularly common in pulmonary pathology and ENT diseases.
All febrile syndromes including:
- strong thirst;
- fatigue accompanied by perspiration, which brings relief;
- influenza and influenza conditions;
- infectious diseases of various etiologies at the beginning;
- epidemic mumps;
- rinitis with dry mucous membranes accompanied by severe thirst;
- tracheitis or bronchitis, in which the patient has a dry painful cough that:

Composition
Bryonia (Bryonia) C9
Auxiliary substances: sucrose, lactose.
4 g – pouches with a pellet counter (1) – cardboard boxes.
How to take, the dosage
Sublingually.
The pellets should be taken by mouth 30 minutes before a meal or 60 minutes after a meal.
In children from 0 to 3 years of age the pellets are first diluted by shaking in 10-15 ml of water at room temperature and then given to drink.
The optimal amount per dose is 5 pellets.
Consultation with a physician is necessary to determine the dilution, number and duration of administration.
Interaction
Other medications may be used during treatment with Brionia.
