Brilliant green, 1% alcohol 25 ml

Brilliant Green solution has a disinfectant effect.

The activity of the drug is significantly reduced if the wound or abrasion is bleeding.

Indications

Skin injuries, Purulent wounds, Blepharitis, Pyoderma

Fresh postoperative and posttraumatic scars, abrasions; pyoderma, blepharitis.

It is also used to treat the edges of healthy skin around the affected areas.

Composition

Per 100 ml of the drug:

Active substance:

Brilliant green – 1.0 g

Supplementary substances:

Ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 95% – 56.0 g; purified water – up to 100 ml.

How to take, the dosage

Externally.

Applied directly to the damaged surface, taking in the surrounding healthy tissue.

If there is no improvement after treatment, or if symptoms get worse or new symptoms develop, consult a doctor.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible when using the drug. In case of contact of the antiseptic with the mucous membrane of the eye a burning sensation and lacrimation are noted.
