Boric acid, 3% alcohol 25 ml

An antiseptic agent.

Boric acid coagulates proteins (including enzyme proteins) of the microbial cell, breaks the permeability of the cell membrane, causing cell death or inhibiting the growth and development of bacteria (depending on the concentration of the drug).

Composition

Per 100 ml:

active ingredient: boric acid 3 g;

excipient: ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 70% to 100 ml.

How to take, the dosage

In case of skin diseases the affected surfaces are treated or used in the form of lotions with 3% solution in ethanol.

In acute and chronic otitis media 3 to 5 drops of drops or inserted as a turunda into the external auditory canal 2-3 times a day.

Special Instructions

Avoid application to mucous membranes and large areas of the body.
