The decoction of the rhizomes and roots of burnet has astringent, styptic, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Indications

Acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases accompanied by diarrhea; heavy menstrual bleeding; minor bleeding in the post-coagulation period of cervical treatment.

How to take, the dosage

Three filter packs (4.5 g) are placed in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover and insist for 15 minutes, occasionally pressing down on the bags with a spoon, then they are squeezed.

The volume of the resulting broth is adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml.

Take orally 1/2 cup 4 times a day.

It is recommended to shake the decoction before drinking.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, lactation.

With caution, use in case of high blood clotting, thromboembolism (history).

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible.

With long-term use – increased blood clotting.
