It has an immunomodulatory effect, stimulating resistance to viral infection, protects the cells of the human body from viral attacks through various mechanisms of action. The main active components of the plant – baicalin, baicalein, wogonin, oroxylin A, wogonoside, oroxylin-A 7-O-glucuronide, scutellarin, narinenin, apigenin and luteolin – have a strong biologically active effect against viruses and inflammation.

Protects against viral infection, prevents infection, blocks the attachment and penetration of viruses into the cells of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract, inhibiting neuraminidase and reducing hemagglutination.
