The drug Bilobil intens 120 of plant origin.

• It increases the body’s resistance to hypoxia, especially brain tissue, inhibits the development of traumatic or toxic cerebral edema, improves the cerebral and peripheral circulation, improves blood rheology.

• It has a dose-dependent regulatory effect on the vascular wall, dilates small arteries, increases the tone of the veins. Prevents the formation of free radicals and lipid peroxidation of cell membranes.

• Normalizes the release, re-uptake and catabolism of neurotransmitters (norepinephrine, dopamine, acetylcholine) and their ability to combine with receptors.

• It improves metabolism in organs and tissues, promotes the accumulation of macroenergies in cells, increased utilization of oxygen and glucose and normalization of mediator processes in the CNS.

Indications

Dyscirculatory encephalopathy of various etiologies (developing as a result of stroke, traumatic brain injury, in old age), accompanied by decreased attention, weakened memory, decreased intellectual abilities, and sleep disturbances;
Impaired peripheral circulation and microcirculation (including arteriopathy of the lower extremities, intermittent claudication), Raynaud’s syndrome;
Neurosensory disturbances (dizziness, tinnitus, hypoacusis);
Age-related macular degeneration;
Diabetic retinopathy.

Special instructions

If a hypersensitivity reaction develops, the use of the drug should be discontinued.

Before surgery, you must inform your doctor about the use of the drug Bilobil intense 120.

If dizziness and tinnitus reappear, you should consult a doctor. In case of sudden deterioration or loss of hearing, you should immediately consult a doctor.

Patients with bleeding (hemorrhagic diathesis) and patients receiving anticoagulant therapy should consult a doctor before starting therapy with Bilobil intense 120.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery. During the period of taking the drug, care should be taken when performing potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving vehicles, working with moving mechanisms).

Ginkgo biloba leaf extract dry 120 mg.
Excipients:

Lactose monohydrate – 198 mg;

Corn starch – 90 mg;

Talc – 24 mg;

Colloidal silicon dioxide – 6 mg;

Magnesium stearate – 6 mg;

Dextrose liquid (dextrose, oligo- and polysaccharides) – 6 mg.
Capsule (body and cap):

Iron dye black oxide (E172) – 0.1%;

Red iron oxide dye (E172) – 0.6%;

Titanium dioxide (E171) – 1.33%;

Iron dye yellow oxide (E172) – 0.27%;

Gelatin – up to 100%.

Pregnancy

The drug Bilobil intense 120 is not recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to the lack of sufficient experience with use.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to ginkgo extract or other components of the drug;
Reduced blood clotting;
Erosive gastritis;
Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the acute stage;
Acute cerebrovascular accident;
Acute myocardial infarction;
Galactosemia, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, because Bilobilintens 120 contains lactose;
Pregnancy;
Breastfeeding period;
Children under 18 years of age.

Side Effects

WHO classification of the incidence of side effects: very often – ≥1/10; often – from ≥1/100 to <1/10; uncommon - from ≥1/1000 to <1/100; rarely - from ≥1/10000 to <1/1000; very rarely - <1/10000; frequency unknown—cannot be estimated from available data. Within each group, adverse effects are presented in order of decreasing severity.

From the digestive system: very rarely – nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

From the nervous system: very rarely – headache, dizziness, insomnia.

From the hemostasis system: very rarely – decreased blood clotting, bleeding (with long-term use in patients simultaneously taking drugs that reduce blood clotting).

Allergic reactions: very rarely – redness of the skin, swelling, itching.

Other: very rarely – hearing impairment.

If any adverse events occur, stop using the drug and consult your doctor.

Interaction

The use of the drug is not recommended in patients constantly taking drugs that reduce blood clotting (for example, direct and indirect anticoagulants, acetylsalicylic acid and other NSAIDs). Concomitant use with these drugs may increase the risk of bleeding due to prolongation of clotting time.

Overdose

Currently, no cases of overdose of Bilobil intense 120 have been reported.
