BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
.The action of the drug is conditioned by high concentration of bifidobacteria (Bifidobacterium bifidum) adsorbed on activated charcoal particles, which are antagonists of a wide range of pathogenic (shigella, salmonella, staphylococcus aureus etc.) and conditionally pathogenic bifidobacteria.) and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms (Proteus, Klebsiella, etc.). Microcolonies of sorbed bifidobacteria provide rapid recovery of normal microflora, which, as a natural biosorbent, accumulates a significant amount of foreign or formed in the body toxic substances. Sorbed bifidobacteria activate regenerative processes in mucous membranes, wall-to-wall digestion, synthesis of vitamins and amino acids, enhance immune protection of the body.

Indications

intestinal dysbiosis of various etiologies (as well as those caused by taking antibiotics, antibacterial drugs, glucocorticosteroid hormones, drugs that have an ulcerogenic effect on the gastrointestinal tract (including NSAIDs)),
diarrhea in patients treated with antibiotics for a long time,
acute intestinal infections of established (shigellosis, salmonellosis, staphylococcal enterocolitis, rotavirus infection) and unknown etiology,
food toxic infections.

As part of complex therapy for diseases accompanied by intestinal dysbiosis:

chronic diseases affecting the gastrointestinal tract (peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, liver and biliary tract diseases, chronic constipation, malabsorption syndrome),
allergic diseases,
pneumonia, acute and chronic bronchitis,
acute respiratory viral infections,
inflammatory diseases of the urogenital tract,
in surgical patients during the period of preoperative preparation and after operations on the intestines, liver, pancreas for the correction of intestinal microbiocenosis and the prevention of purulent-inflammatory diseases. The drug is used for the prevention of:
nosocomial infections in maternity hospitals and hospitals,
dysbacteriosis in children and adults who often suffer from ARVI.

Microcolonies of sorbed bifidobacteria ensure rapid restoration of normal microflora, which, being a natural biosorbent, accumulates significant amounts of toxic substances entering from the outside or formed in the body. Sorbed bifidobacteria activate restoration processes in the mucous membranes, parietal digestion, synthesis of vitamins and amino acids, and enhance the body’s immune defense.

The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or machinery.

Active ingredient

Probiotic from bifidobacteria bifidum one-component sorbed

Composition

active substance: bifidobacteria sorbed on activated carbon – at least 50 million colony-forming units (5×107 CFU),

excipient: lactose monohydrate – up to 0.20 g.

Pregnancy

The drug is approved for use by women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. There are no special conditions for admission.

Contraindications

Congenital lactase deficiency. Impaired absorption of glucose-galactose.

Interaction

When Bifidumbacterin forte® is taken simultaneously with vitamins (especially group B), the effect of the drug is enhanced. When taking antibiotics, the recommended interval between taking the antibiotic and Bifidumbacterin forte® is 3–4 hours.

Overdose

There were no cases of overdose.

Storage conditions

Store at temperatures from 2 to 10 °C. Transport at temperatures from 2 to 10 °C. The drug can be transported at a temperature not exceeding 20 °C for no more than 10 days. Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life

1 year The drug is not suitable for use after the expiration date, if the appearance has changed, if there is no or unclear marking on the primary packaging, or if the seal of the primary packaging is broken.
