Bepanten is a regenerating agent.

Pharmacodynamics

Dexpanthenol is rapidly converted in the skin cells into pantothenic acid, which is a component of CoA and plays an important role both in the formation and healing of damaged skin; stimulates skin regeneration, normalizes cell metabolism.

Pharmacokinetics

When applied externally, it is rapidly absorbed by the skin (quickly absorbed) and converted to pantothenic acid and binds to plasma proteins (mainly beta globulin and albumin).

Pantothenic acid is not metabolized in the body and is excreted unchanged.

How to take, the dosage

Dosage and administration

The ointment is used topically. The ointment is applied to the damaged or inflamed area of the skin 1-2 times a day and lightly rubbed.

The dosing regimen for different age groups

Milk care for breastfeeding mothers: Apply the ointment to the nipples after each feeding.

Infant care: apply the ointment every time the diaper is changed.
