How to take, the dosage
The course of treatment lasts 4 days.
Adults are prescribed 20% emulsion, and children under 5 years – 10% (the drug is diluted with boiled water at a ratio of 1:1). On the first day the treatment is carried out in the evening before going to bed after a thorough shower with warm water and soap.
The emulsion is rubbed into the skin of hands, then torso and feet, including soles and fingers. After skin treatment only clean underwear and clothes should be used. On the 2nd and 3rd days the treatment shall be stopped and the emulsion residues shall not be washed off the skin.
On the 4th day in the evening the patient washes with soap and soap and rubs the emulsion as on the first day, using the remaining emulsion and changes all underwear once again. Hands after treatment should not be washed for 3 hours; subsequently the hands are treated with the emulsion after each wash.
If the emulsion is washed off from other areas of the skin they must also be re-treated.
Treatment of scabies complications (dermatitis, eczema, pyoderma, postscabiosis lymphoplasia) should be carried out simultaneously with the treatment of scabies and continue after its completion.
Special Instructions
All objects that have come in contact with infected skin are thoroughly treated. Bedding, towels, bedclothes are boiled in a solution of washing powder for 5-10 minutes.
External clothes are ironed on both sides with a hot iron. Items not subject to heat treatment are hung outdoors for 3 days. Shoes, toys, etc. items should be removed from use for 5 days and placed in a cellophane bag.
Mattresses, pillows, blankets are excluded from use for 5 days or are subjected to chamber disinfection. Upholstered furniture is treated with disinfectants.
The apartment is cleaned and the floors are washed with detergents or disinfectants added.
