Composition

1 g of the ointment contains benzyl benzoate 200 mg and a water-emulsion base up to 1 g

How to take, the dosage

Oternally.

In the treatment of scabies: after washing, at night, apply to the entire skin (excluding face and scalp) and rub with hands (hands not washed until morning), 30-40 g of ointment per rubbing (course 60-80 g); after procedure use disinfected linen and clothing; on the 4th day, the treatment is repeated, on the 5th day appoint washing with a change of underwear and bed linen.

In treatment of head pediculosis: rub into scalp and hair, then cover hair with a cotton cloth.

In case of pubic pediculosis: rub into skin of pubis, abdomen, inguinal folds and inner surface of thighs. In case of pediculosis: rub into night on the 1st, 3rd and 7th day, on the 8th day wash with soap and water, rinse hair with 3% acetic acid solution.

If necessary the treatment is repeated.

The ointment used for the treatment of adults is 20%, for children – 10%.

In areas with delicate skin the ointment shall be applied without intense rubbing.

Special Instructions

All objects that have come in contact with infected skin are thoroughly treated. Bedding, towels, bedclothes are boiled in a solution of washing powder for 5-10 minutes.

External clothes are ironed on both sides with a hot iron. Items not subject to heat treatment are hung outdoors for 3 days. Shoes, toys, etc. items should be removed from use for 5 days and placed in a cellophane bag.

Mattresses, pillows, blankets are excluded from use for 5 days or are subjected to chamber disinfection. Upholstered furniture is treated with disinfectants.

The apartment is cleaned and the floors are washed with detergents or disinfectants added.

Contraindications

Intolerance to benzyl benzoate.
