Belogent has anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antiproliferative and antipruritic effects.
Betamethasone has anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antiproliferative and antipruritic effects. When applied to the skin surface, it has fast and strong action in the area of inflammation reducing the severity of objective symptoms (erythema, edema, lichenification) and subjective sensations (itching, irritation, pain).
Gentamicin has broad-spectrum antibacterial (bactericidal) action against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, including Streptococcus strains (beta-hemolytic, alpha-hemolytic), Staphylococcus aureus (coagulase-positive, coagulase-negative and some strains producing penicillinase), Proteus, E. coli.

Special instructions
The drug is intended for external use only.
Long-term use of the drug on the skin of the face is not recommended, because the development of rosacea, perioral dermatitis and acne is possible.
It should not be used in the eye area, due to the likelihood of the drug getting into the mucous membrane, which can contribute to the development of cataracts, glaucoma, fungal eye infections and exacerbation of herpetic infections.
Some areas of the body (armpits, inguinal folds), where there is a natural occlusion, are more susceptible to the risk of stretch marks, so the use of the drug in these areas should be short-term.
If a fungal infection develops on the skin, additional use of an antifungal agent is necessary.
With long-term continuous use of the drug, especially in children, on large surfaces of the skin, application to skin with compromised integrity, or when used under an occlusive dressing, systemic side effects may develop, but the likelihood of this is extremely low.
Application in pediatrics. Can be used in children, with caution and for a short period of time. The duration of treatment should be as short as possible. The drug should not be used for children under bandages and especially under plasticized diapers, because this enhances the absorption of the drug and increases the risk of side effects.
Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and machinery. Does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and machinery.
