Balarpan-N, eye drops 0.01%, 5 ml

Balarpan eye drops have reparative (healing, restorative) effect. Active substances glycosoaminoglycans are included into the structure of natural connective tissue of the cornea, so when used topically they effectively heal defects of the epithelium resulting from trauma, chemical or radiation burns, infectious processes and corneal tissue nutrition disorders.

Indications

It is recommended to use as one of the components of complex therapy for erosions and non-penetrating wounds of the cornea, conjunctiva, sclera, for penetrating wounds of the cornea and sclera (after surgery), for thermal and chemical burns of the cornea, conjunctiva and sclera, as well as for damage to the cornea as a result of operations – keratotomy, keratoplasty, keratomileusis, removal cataracts.

Balarpan eye drops are effective for keratitis (including with corneal ulceration), keratoconjunctivitis, epithelial-endothelial dystrophy of the cornea. It is recommended to use the drug for adaptation to contact lenses and improving their tolerability, for dry eye syndrome, and as a means of prevention for involutional changes in the cornea

1 ml of the drug contains:

Active ingredients:

sulfated glycosaminoglycans (0.0001 g),

Auxiliary ingredients: sodium chloride and purified water.

Contraindications

Balarpan eye drops are contraindicated in case of individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Drops are not prescribed to children under 18 years of age, as well as to pregnant and lactating women (safety and effectiveness have not been studied).

Side Effects

Allergic reactions may develop, as well as hyperemia (redness) of the conjunctiva.

Interaction

Balarpan eye drops are compatible with any antibiotics used in ophthalmic surgery.
